> Cale Gale and the No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure team entered the race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway with high hopes of competing for the win. The team loaded up one of their best trucks decorated in pink and black to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and went to one of Gale's favorite tracks on the NASCAR circuit. Unfortunately, the team's hopes for a win were dashed when they entered the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) garage after just seven laps with terminal engine damage.

Gale led the Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) stable in both practice sessions on Friday afternoon. The team spent the two practices working through a variety of setup options and working on Gale's line around the 0.526-mile track. The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender also utilized the practice time to adjust to a new, shorter shifter that the team installed prior to the Kroger 200 race weekend.

On Saturday morning, the team returned to the historic short track to prepare for qualifying and the 200-lap race. Inconsistent weather conditions and an off- and on-rain shower during qualifying made it challenging for many drivers to lay down a fast lap. The session was paused twice to allow jet dryers to work on the track before resuming hot laps. Gale went on the track while it was drizzling and posted only a 20.026-second lap to roll off 22nd later that afternoon.

Missing a shift on the initial start, Gale experienced motor issues as soon as the green flag waved as his truck turned nearly 1,500 rpm less than his competitors. Quickly falling through the field, the Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender spoke with his Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet team. By lap seven, Gale pulled onto pit road and eventually into the garage for the crew to look under the hood and assess the damage. The Rheem Chasing the Cure team discovered a burned cylinder bringing a very early end to their day and resulting in a 35th-place finish.

"Days like today are really tough," commented Gale. "I grew up racing on short tracks, and I always look forward to races at Martinsville Speedway. My Rheem Chasing the Cure team built me a great truck-it handled well all weekend and I'm sure that we would have been able to make a run for the front. Unfortunately, sometimes, these things happen. We have improved so much over the course of this season, and I'm confident that we'll be able to bounce back over the next three races.

"I would like to thank Rheem for all of their support this season," continued Gale. "We wrapped up the Rheem Chasing the Cure program this weekend. It was a charitable initiative designed to raise breast cancer awareness and support the Young Survival Coalition. The program gave me a really cool opportunity to connect with breast cancer survivors and try to make a difference in the fight of so many others battling breast cancer. It meant a lot to race our Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet while wearing a pink and black firesuit over the last two races."

With just a green-white-checkered finish left to the 2012 NCWTS season, the truck series will travel to Texas Motor Speedway for race 20 of 22. Gear up for the action with a broadcast of qualifying from the 1.5-mile oval on Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on SPEED. Live coverage of the WinStar World Casino 350 will air on SPEED, MRN Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will follow at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 2. Cale Gale Martinsville FINAL PRACTICE REPORT

No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet Silverado News and Notes

> NOTES:
There were no incidents involving the No. 6, No. 8 or No. 33 entry during the final practice session.

Inside the top 10 after the opening practice session, Cale Gale and the No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure team felt confident about their truck and expected to spend the final practice session just fine-tuning the handling of the Silverado. As the session progressed, the track continued to get freer and freer, and the Rheem Chasing the Cure team battled to tighten up their Chevrolet and get it rotating through the corners. Just like Lofton, Gale ran into traffic during his mock run resulting in a slowed effort and ranking Gale 16th on the time chart.

> QUOTES:
Cale Gale, No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet: "We threw a lot of changes at our Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet, in final practice, but I feel like our truck is going to be good in tomorrow's race. We weren't able to get in a clean mock run, so qualifying may be a little bit interesting, but we know that we'll be strong in the race. I grew up racing on short tracks, and even though it can be hard to pass here, I feel like that will help me out a lot tomorrow afternoon."

> TV COVERAGE:
Tune in to SPEED tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time for qualifying from Martinsville Speedway. Be sure tune in to NCWTS Setup for a special feature about Cale Gale and the Rheem Chasing the Cure program where Gale joined four breast cancer survivors to paint the iconic Martinsville curbs pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Live coverage of the Kroger 200 will be aired on SPEED, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90, beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 27.

Cale Gale Martinsville OPENING PRACTICE REPORT

No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet Silverado News and Notes

> NOTES:
There were no incidents involving the No. 6, No. 8 or No. 33 entry during the opening practice session.

Near the exit of pit road, Cale Gale and the No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure team spent the session working through a couple setup options for their Chevrolet. They unloaded quick holding the second-position on the speed chart through the halfway point of the session, but a second setup option freed their truck too much. The Rheem Chasing the Cure team returned their pink machine to the way they unloaded it and closed out the session with a mock qualifying run. With another truck slowing their pace, Gale recorded the ninth-fastest lap of the session.

> QUOTES:
Cale Gale, No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet: "We worked through a couple setup options with our Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet during opening practice. We really liked the setup that we unloaded with, and after trying a couple other combinations, we went back to that. We ran into some traffic on our mock run, so hopefully we have enough time to try that again this afternoon. I'm really excited to be back in Martinsville; it should be a good weekend."

> TV COVERAGE:
Tune in to SPEED today at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time for a live broadcast of final practice, and tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. EDT for qualifying from Martinsville Speedway. Be sure tune in to NCWTS Setup tomorrow for a special feature about Cale Gale and the Rheem Chasing the Cure program as Gale joined four breast cancer survivors to paint the iconic Martinsville curbs pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. News and Notes

> Rheem Chasing the Cure... Cale Gale and the No. 33 Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) team will continue to promote the Rheem Chasing the Cure program this weekend at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. In its second year, the month-long program is designed to promote breast cancer awareness and benefit the Young Survival Coalition (YSC). The YSC is an organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. One of the highlights of the program is the Chasing the Cure Video Contest, which enables fans to share their story about their personal victory over breast cancer. Extended through Wednesday, Oct. 24, the first 100 entrants to post a video on the Rheem Racing Facebook page (Facebook.com/RheemRacing) will receive a free "Check Your Headlights" t-shirt from Rheem Racing.

> Rheem Chevrolet goes pink and black for breast cancer awareness... The No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet driven by Cale Gale in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will remain pink and black to promote breast cancer awareness for the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway. The ESR Silverado utilized the same paint scheme, which highlights Rheem's Chasing the Cure program, in the NCWTS race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway earlier this month.

> Back at the short track... Gale will make his third career NCWTS start at the historic Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 27. In the spring race, Gale qualified in the fourth position and ran inside the top 10 all afternoon. While running sixth with less than 10 laps remaining, the Rheem Chevrolet suffered a flat tire and forced Gale down pit road for a four-tire stop resulting in a 15th-place finish. Gale has one top-10 finish (seventh) at the short track from October 2011.

> Meet Cale Gale... Gale will join his ESR teammates Justin Lofton and Max Gresham at the Chevy Stage at 9:15 a.m. Eastern time on Saturday morning. The group will sign autographs following a brief question and answer session.

> Battling for points... With just four races remaining in the 2012 NCWTS season, Gale is currently ranked inside the top 15 in both the championship driver and owner point standings. Gale, who has scored six top-10 finishes this season, is ranked 12th in driver points and 14th in owner points. Currently second in the Rookie of the Year points, Gale is in hot pursuit of leader Ty Dillon.

From the Driver's Seat: Cale Gale Quotes...

On getting back to Martinsville: "I'm really excited to race at Martinsville Speedway this weekend with our No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet. We had a great truck there earlier this season and our team has a lot of positive momentum going into this weekend, so I'm excited to see what we can do. The races at Martinsville are all about staying out of trouble-if we can keep the nose and fenders on it, we should be there to battle it out at the end."

On Chasing the Cure with Rheem: "It's been really cool to be a part of the Rheem Chasing the Cure program. We were able to bring a lot of attention to the truck with a top-10 finish at my home track [Talladega Superspeedway] earlier this month, and hopefully we can run up front with it again this weekend at Martinsville Speedway. Through the Chasing the Cure program, I've been able to meet several breast cancer survivors and I've had a lot of people come up and tell me about their personal battles, so it has meant a lot to see how this program has personally affected those individuals. We even joined a couple survivors to paint the curbing pink at Martinsville Speedway earlier this month. That was a lot of fun, but I'm more excited to race around those curbs this weekend."

From the Pit Box: Crew Chief Jerry Baxter Quotes...

On racing at Martinsville: "We're really excited to go back to Martinsville Speedway with Cale Gale and the No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet this weekend. The spring race at Martinsville was just the second race of the season, and my second race as a crew chief in the Camping World Truck Series. Cale and I have learned a lot about each other, and I've learned a lot about the trucks since then. We qualified fourth in that race and had the chance to finish inside the top five; we've come a long way since then and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish together this weekend."
