JUSTIN LOFTON AND THE No. 6 J.D. HEISKELL CHEVROLET TURN BLACK & BLUE FIGHTING THE COMPETITION IN IOWA

Lofton Finishes Fifth at Iowa

> Justin Lofton continued his battle for the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Championship this weekend at Iowa Speedway in the No. 6 J.D. Heiskell & Co. Chevrolet Silverado. With a new sponsor on board, Lofton fought the competition with a fast truck all weekend recording times inside the top-five throughout both practice sessions, qualifying fourth and ultimately crossing the finish line in the fifth position.

Lofton rolled off in the third position for the American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway. With the sun still beating down on the track, Lofton's No. 6 J.D. Heiskell & Co. Chevrolet was a little loose off the green flag. As the driver raced in the fifth position, the J.D. Heiskell & Co. team utilized the lap 51 caution to fine tune the handling of their Chevrolet. After receiving an air pressure adjustment and a slight chassis adjustment, Lofton was back on track to battle the competition.

As the track cooled off, the J.D. Heiskell Chevrolet began to dial itself in. Track position proved to be critical in America's Heartland as many drivers struggled to pass on the 0.875-mile speedway. Still, Lofton slowly worked around the competition and began picking up positions.

Things got interesting on lap 169 as Ron Hornaday, "the King of Restarts," dive bombed the competition going into turn one, which pushed Lofton up to the high groove of a three-wide pack. In a chain reaction, Lofton had to lift off the throttle a little more than usual and lost a few positions. From there, it was a fight to the finish as the driver of the J.D. Heiskell & Co. Chevrolet raced for a position inside the top five. By the end of the 200-lap race, Lofton crossed the finish line in the fifth position scoring his fourth top-five finish of the 2012 NCWTS season.

"I had a great time in Iowa this weekend," commented Lofton following the race. "We had around 50 guests from our sponsor J.D. Heiskell & Co. join us for the race. We had a great time getting to know them, and loved having them there to support us. Our Chevrolet was so good and fast off the truck. We hoped for a stronger finish, but we just couldn't get the clean air that we needed."

> There were no incidents involving the No. 6 or 33 entries during either practice session.

Justin Lofton and the No. 6 J.D. Heiskell & Co. team were extremely happy with their Chevrolet during the opening practice session at Iowa Speedway. Their Chevrolet was strong right off the hauler allowing the team to make just four runs throughout the 80-minute practice session. The J.D. Heiskell & Co. team made minor adjustments prior to each run to fine tune the handling of their Chevrolet and by the end of the session Lofton was extremely happy with their piece.

New Sponsor and New Paint Scheme Debut on the No. 6 Chevrolet

> DENVER, N.C. (July 11, 2012) - Justin Lofton, driver of the No. 6 Eddie Sharp Racing Chevrolet, will be sporting a new paint scheme and a new sponsor at this weekend's American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway. Dawning a new blue paint scheme with J.D. Heiskell & Company's logo, Lofton is looking to fight back to regain the top spot in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) championship point standings.

"We couldn't be happier to have J.D. Heiskell & Company on board the No. 6 Chevrolet this week in Iowa," commented Lofton. "They have been a supplier to our family business [Lofton Cattle] for many years. There is no better place to display J.D. Heiskell than right in the heartland of America."

Saturday's race at Iowa Speedway will be J.D. Heiskell's first race sponsoring a NCWTS race team. The 125-year-old company will have their logo displayed on the rear quarter panels and bed top of Lofton's No. 6 machine. Lofton is currently ranked second in the point standings, just four points outside the top position.

"We have high hopes and high expectations for both me and the team this weekend," commented Lofton. "Iowa Speedway is a really fun track, and it's a place where I've been able to run well at in the past."

As part of the new look for the No. 6 ESR Chevrolet fans may notice the absence of College Complete from the hood of Lofton's Chevrolet. After just eight races together in the 2012 season, Justin Lofton, College Complete and all parties involved have agreed to amicably part ways.

"I thank College Complete for their support," Lofton continued. "The relationship exceeded expectations and I wish them all the best as they continue to move forward."

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will put on a primetime feature this Saturday night at Iowa Speedway. Live coverage of the American Ethanol 200 will be broadcast on SPEED, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 14.
